How it works.

What is AppleJax?

AppleJax is a systematic signal research platform built on 21 years of market data. Every signal is generated by a rules-based scanner that runs daily — no discretion, no narrative, no recency bias. We test strategies exhaustively and publish only what survives rigorous walk-forward validation.

How signals are scored

Every signal carries an Edge Score between 0 and 97. The score is fixed at the moment of detection and never updated — it reflects the conditions present when the signal triggered, not how the trade has since performed.

Signal status

Prime Entry

Signal is fresh. The setup conditions are intact and the entry window is open.

Active

Trade is underway. The hold period is running. No new entry recommended.

Late Stage

The hold period is approaching its end. Risk/reward is no longer at its best.

The sleeves

Fresh Catch

Post-earnings drift. Triggered by quality earnings beats with the right gap and archetype. 20-day hold.

Chef's Special

Quality momentum dip-buy. High-scoring setups in confirmed uptrends that have pulled back. 60-day hold.

Value Meal

Deep value reversion. FCF-rich stocks trading below their intrinsic range. Regime-gated. 90-day hold.

Apple Cider

Seasonal momentum dip. Sep/Oct setups in quality stocks below Bollinger Bands. 63-day hold.

What Edge unlocks

Free users see 3 signal previews daily — ticker, sleeve, score, and a one-line narrative. Edge members see the full signal table across all 4 sleeves, the complete thesis for each signal, entry/stop/target levels, lifecycle status, drawdown path context, and outcome range framing based on historical analogs.

Risk disclosure

AppleJax publishes systematic research — not financial advice. All signals are derived from historical backtests and statistical models. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Position sizing, risk management, and execution decisions are entirely the responsibility of the individual. Never risk capital you cannot afford to lose.
